# Data Product Lead (w/m/d) ## The future looks like you At C&A, we are changing the way we drive value with data by recognizing that data is only valuable if it is trustworthy, easy to find and understand, and fit for its intended purpose. The introduction of the Data Product Lead role is pivotal in changing the way we approach value creation with data. We are looking for a **Data Product Lead** to build, coach and develop a team of Data Product Managers. Together, they will drive the strategy, development, and launch of data-driven products that deliver business value. The ideal candidate is a passionate advocate of the value of Product Management for Data teams, and feels at ease navigating the space between Product, Tech and Data. ## Your responsibilities * People Leadership: You lead a team of Data Product Managers and are accountable for the outcomes of your team. You coach and support the performance and growth of your team members. You support your team members in navigating the ambiguities of a transition to Product Management for Data, and you ensure that they can focus on building great products * Thought Leadership and Change championing: Together with your peers in the Data Leadership team, you co-drive the definition and execution of the Data Strategy. You spearhead the adoption of a Product driven mindset for Data teams, and you actively shape the Data end user experience at C&A. * Scaling product: Together with your Product Lead peers you define the frameworks and best practices that will enable us to scale Product Management and Product Operations at C&A (discovery practices, success measurement frameworks, stakeholder engagement, etc.). * Value Creation measurement: you define, measure, and optimize the value delivered by data products by establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and tracking data product performance to inform continuous improvement. * Ownership: You ensure that your team members own the prioritization of their backlog and the discovery of strategic opportunities. You support them in the creation of roadmaps and epics that enable consistent delivery within a context of high alignment and high autonomy. * Cross-Functional Collaboration: you build strong partnerships with data engineering, data governance, tech, product and business teams to ensure alignment and efficient product development. * Training/Documentation: You create concepts to continuously train new and existing users, promoting data-driven decision making and fostering a data-centric culture. You promote a culture of efficient and user-friendly documentation within your team. * Innovation: You keep up to date with industry trends and explore new and innovative ways to translate data into value and great products ## What you bring * You bring at least 8+ years of experience * You have a strong understanding of the data value chain and of the data management practices that help deliver value at scale in a data rich environment. You are familiar with data architecture and modelling concepts and ideally have a basic understanding of machine learning models. * You have in-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles and the ability to positively promote the benefits of working this way to stakeholders and to cross-functional data teams. * You effectively communicate with technical as well as non-technical stakeholders and engage in constructive and collaborative relationships with peers, business users and external vendors. * You can engage with both strategic planning and hands-on execution * You are an experienced product manager and you have hands-on experience building data products to unlock direct business value or speed up the time to actionable insights. * You have first experience in leading a team and creating a supportive and learning oriented environment. ## What we offer This is an opportunity for you to join us on a truly exciting transformation journey, where you’ll be able to leave footprints that last and contribute significantly to our vision.
