We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to lead our Data Management & Quality Chapter. As the Chapter Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the way we handle, govern, and enhance our data assets. You will lead a team of dedicated data professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data management and data quality initiatives.
The successful candidate will play an active role in mapping and visualization of metadata, upkeep of data conventions and expansion/ governance of a metadata library.

**Your key responsibilities**
* Oversee the maintenance and organization of databases and lists to ensure data accuracy and reliability
* Compile and present data through reports and visualizations to support stakeholder engagements and decision-making
* Steer external collaborators working on data conversions and databasing.
* Create and document standardized metadata terminology for consistent data definitions and usage in a masterdata catalog

* For an employment in Austria: We offer you an income based on your qualifications and market conditions, with a minimum annual gross salary of €45.000 on fulltime basis.
**You bring**
* Master’s Degree in related Field, e.g., data management, data analytics or data science OR Master’s Degree in a field related to Animal Husbandry, Zoology or similar. Any such background is highly beneficial
* Understanding of data quality data quality standards and processes
* Strong interest in data harmonization and establishing common terminologies, FAIR data.
* Familiarity with data management and data quality tools and technologies. Familiarity with CDISC/SEND formats
* Experienced in data manipulation, joining datasets requiring advanced knowledge in Excel, some proficiency in SQL databasing and a scripting language are beneficial.
* Experienced in data extraction and visualization in PowerBI or similar and with with Agile development methodologies
