# Data Architect **Geneva** | **Full time** We are looking for a talented Data Architect to join our dynamic Data team and help us shape the future of our data architecture. The Data Architect is responsible for defining, governing and evolving the data architecture in business data domains within the Lombard Odier Group. This role ensures that data architectures are aligned with corporate business strategies, solution architecture guidelines and data governance principles. The Data Architect will act as a liaison between the Data Office, IT development and Business teams, providing technical advice, promoting data standards and driving innovation in data technologies. **YOUR ROLE** * Develop and maintain the enterprise data architecture framework to support business objectives and regulatory requirements. * Define a scalable, efficient, and modern data architecture in collaboration with engineers and business teams. * Establish data architecture policies, standards, and best practices in assigned data domains. * Advise on data modelling, integration models and data architecture best practice. * Support data owners and data custodians throughout the data lifecycle, ensuring data traceability and compliance. * Contribute to data architecture and governance bodies, supporting data architecture initiatives. * Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to provide recommendations. **YOUR PROFILE** * Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Systems or a related field. * 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering or similar roles. * You delivered successful transformation and innovation projects, in large scale organization * Excellent command of Financial Services' specific regulatory challenges * Excellent command of data architecture, data lakes, data warehouses principles and best practices (event-driven, microservices, data mesh) * Excellent command of ETL / ELT processes and data lifecycle management * Excellent command of data governance, compliance, and security * Excellent market trends knowledge, privileged contacts with vendors and third parties offering different hosting strategies (on-premise, cloud, hybrid) * Strong analytical skills * Strong ability to engage with C-level, IT and Business stakeholders and convince decision makers. **Our Maison’s DNA** is defined by five core values. **Excellence** drives us to be the best at what we do, while **Innovation** fuels our progress. **Respect** underpins every interaction, and **Integrity** shapes our actions.
