  • •Complete jobs by entering extra charges and pricing.
  • •Invoice shipments.
  • •Check internal debits and credits.
  • •Adhere to relevant regulations and laws.
  • •Use and maintain technical tools like WorldStar and BioStar.
  • •Maintain clinical trials using BioStar.
  • •Recognize and utilize important information promptly.
  • •Participate in on-call orders and manage office supplies.
  • •Communicate with national and international courier stations.
  • •Build and maintain relationships with contractors and transporters.

# Customer Service Apprentice **Sindelfingen, Germany** | **Full time** Join a dynamic logistics team where you'll drive customer satisfaction through expert order management and shipment coordination. In this role, you'll proactively handle customer communications, calculate transit times and freight costs, and manage end-to-end shipment execution using WorldStar and other-critical systems. **Responsibilities:** * accepts jobs by telephone*I* email *I* fax *I* internet * writes conversation-protocols * calculates transit-times * calculates shipment prices * raises jobs in WorldStar and edits these if need arises * selects routings by deciding on a single or combination of transportation-types (airplane, car, train, Aerolink) * orders drivers (pickup*I* delivery of shipments at the customer, delivery *I* pickup of shipments at the freight-company) * checks collected shipments in the office and prepares them for transport * books and preadvises shipments * monitors shipments during the transport and reacts flexibly to any deviation from the plan * continuously checks the notes in WorldStar and handles preadvised shipments * checks the planned departure or arrival times of flights ("Post Flight Check") * completes jobs (enters extra-charges, pricing) * invoices shipments * checks the internal debits and credits (Clearinghouse) * works securely with all pertinent regulations (ADR *I* DGR *I* IATA) as well as the relevant laws and ordinances * uses and maintains the available technical tools (WorldStar , OpStar , BioStar, OrgaNice, Flight Monitor) * maintains clinical trails using BioStar (study management) * recognizes important information and makes immediate use of this information (All Stations Emails, Holiday Lists, Ops-Memos, C/H Memos) * regularly partakes in being on-call orders *office* supplies manages the store-room (packaging, supplies, cooling-media, etc) communicates with national and international World Courier stations *I* Aerolink*I* agents * builds and maintains relationships to contractors *I* transporters (airlines, handling agents, the Rail, customs, government agencies, veterinarians, suppliers, etc) **Requirements:** * Written and verbal communication skills **Minimum skills required:** * Fluency in English # ****What Cencora offers**** ​Benefit offerings outside the US may vary by country and will be aligned to local market practice.
