Anforderungen
- •Academic degree in Engineering, Mechanics, Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or similar
- •Professional work experience in costing or costing related functions
- •Multiple years of professional experience within automotive industry, ideally in quality and engineering, advanced purchasing, category purchasing, tool management, cost management, and/or manufacturing planning
- •Deep understanding of product cost structures, manufacturing technologies, and value chains
- •Proven expertise in Target Costing, Design-to-Cost, Design-to-Value, Benchmarking, and Cost Auditing
- •Strong skills in cost calculation methodologies, cost modeling, and market analysis
- •Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management abilities between Engineering, Purchasing, and Finance
- •Experience in method development, process optimization, and change management in cost and value management contexts
- •Profound project management experience
- •Business fluent German and English language skills (both written and spoken)
- •Highly analytical skills with strong communication, moderation, and presentation skills
- •Very good negotiation skills required (for negotiations with suppliers and customers)
- •Intercultural competence

- •Execute Supplier Cost Audits with Category Management
- •Confront suppliers with calculated costs for price negotiations
- •Discuss cost reduction potentials with top management
- •Conduct cost structure and value stream analyses
- •Validate market prices
- •Plan and moderate cross-functional workshops for cost optimization
- •Support make-or-buy decisions with detailed cost evaluations
- •Provide recommendations to management on sourcing strategies
- •Participate in global cost reduction projects for supplier components
- •Assist Category Purchasing with annual price negotiations
- •Identify key projects and potential suppliers
- •Improve manufacturing processes at supplier locations
- •Follow up on cost reduction potential until implementation
