## Corporate Communications Lead (m/f/d)
###### Permanent employee, Full-time ·Munich,Berlin, Hamburg
---
##### About the Role
In this role at Circus, you will be the strategic architect and hands-on driver of our corporate messaging across financial, business, and public affairs audiences.
You will develop high-impact narratives that resonate with investors, media, and internal stakeholders — working closely with the executive team. Your focus will be on strategic communication and media relations, particularly in capital market contexts (e.g. financial press, quarterly reporting, corporate reputation).
This role requires a rare blend of editorial excellence, capital markets insight, and the ability to craft messages that move both minds and markets.
##### Your Daily Business
**Corporate Narrative & Reputation Building**
* Develop and continuously refine Circus’s corporate narrative, aligning with strategic goals and market dynamics.
* Ensure clarity and consistency across all CEO- and C-level-facing communication: from town halls and public speeches to earnings call positioning and media quotes.
* Shape Circus’s positioning as a tech-driven innovator in the public markets.
**Financial Communications**
* Draft and review press releases, shareholder letters, and investor-facing presentations.
* Manage media responses and messaging in connection with capital markets activity (e.g. financial results, transactions, strategic announcements).
* Support internal briefings and stakeholder prep ahead of high-impact financial moments, in close coordination with Finance and Legal.
**Media Relations & Public Affairs**
* Build and manage relationships with financial, business, and trade journalists.
* Act as point of contact for key press inquiries and high-stakes media engagements.
* Drive thought leadership strategy — placing op-eds, articles, and interviews that reinforce Circus’s brand and business case.
**Strategic Support**
* Act as a sparring partner for senior management in preparing public messages and aligning communication touchpoints.
* Collaborate with the Brand team to ensure visual and narrative cohesion across all formats.
##### Base Qualifications
* 7+ years of experience in corporate communications, ideally in publicly listed or capital-intensive businesses (tech, aerospace, automotive, energy, etc.).
* Strong financial communications experience, with confidence drafting and editing earnings-related materials and capital markets messaging.
* Exceptional writing, editorial, and storytelling skills in both German and English.
* Media-savvy and experienced in managing top-tier press relationships and crisis communications.
* Strategic mindset with hands-on mentality — able to work independently while aligning closely with key stakeholders.
* Ability to navigate ambiguity and turn complex technical or financial information into clear, engaging messaging.
* Based in or willing to relocate to Munich (preferred), Berlin, or Hamburg.
