**Responsibilities**
As a Compliance & Risk Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the organization adheres to all relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. You will assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks, while supporting a culture of compliance across the organization. This role is ideal for professionals looking to build their expertise in compliance frameworks, risk assessments, and corporate governance.
* Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s compliance program, including policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations
* Conduct risk assessments to identify potential compliance vulnerabilities and help develop action plans to address them
* Monitor regulatory changes and assist senior management in understanding potential impacts
* Contribute to training and awareness programs to promote a culture of compliance and ethical behavior across the organization
* Assist in investigating and resolving compliance issues, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders as necessary
* Prepare and present compliance reports for management review
* Support the development and implementation of business continuity and risk management strategies
* Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all compliance-related activities
**Requirements**
* A degree in economics or (business) law from a university or university of applied sciences, with at least two years of professional experience in compliance and/or risk management
* Additionally, a desire to develop expertise in implementing organizational and procedural requirements for governance systems (e.g., compliance, risk management)
* Strong interest in regulatory frameworks and industry best practices (e.g., GDPR, SOX, ISO 27001)
* Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
* High ethical standards and attention to detail
* Professional certifications such as CCEP, CRMA, or similar (a plus, but not required)
* Familiarity with risk management software and tools
* Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken, is mandatory, further languages are a plus
