Anforderungen
- •Vocational training in Media Design or bachelor's degree in communication design, media design, graphic design, or comparable qualification
- •Very strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
- •Experience designing for print and digital media
- •Experience working with a CMS (ideally WordPress or similar) and preparing image and graphic material for web applications
- •Very good German and English skills, written and spoken
- •Structured, reliable working style and enjoyment of teamwork
- •Interest in current trends in graphic design and AI-supported design workflows
- •Experience in visualizing scientific or technical content
- •Interest and willingness to occasionally take photographs and use a camera
- •Basic knowledge of motion graphics, animation, or video
- •Experience working with image and graphic archives or comparable asset management systems
- •Basic understanding of web usability and accessibility

Deine Aufgaben
- •Conceptualize and design graphics, infographics, and illustrations for scientific content
- •Create print and digital media, including annual reports and event materials
- •Design and optimize presentation templates
- •Maintain the institute’s corporate design and update design guidelines
- •Create visual content for the website, newsletters, and social media
- •Collaborate with the digital communications team on visual content
- •Manage the visual implementation and maintenance of the institute’s website within the CMS
- •Maintain a structured image and graphic archive
- •Plan and implement design projects, collaborating with external service providers
- •Optionally contribute to design concepts for product or prototype design with researchers
