Commercial Operations Systems Specialist
Wetzlar, Germany | Full time
In this critical technical role, you will support Leica Microsystem’s commercial community, by ensuring robust design and stable operations of our systems, applications and processes (SAP, Quoting Tool, Electronic Invoicing). You will be main partner to the IT team and help translating business needs into technical requirements. Further you will drive customer master data management to enable smooth customer service and effective marketing campaigns.
You will be part of an international team of technical experts at the intersection of business and IT, and as such be part of the digitization of the customer experience.
Main Responsibilities:

SAP Key User: Ensure the flawless operation, security, and knowledge transfer of SAP modules; support pricing policy enforcement and maintain discounts for accurate quotes and orders.

Quoting Tool Administration: Administer and maintain the LMS quoting tool (CPQ) user accounts and profiles; document issues, collaborate with the development team, and conduct follow-up activities and user acceptance testing (UAT).

EDI System Support: Support EDI systems for electronic invoicing in EU countries, ensuring correct setup of Bill-to accounts.

Training and Miscellaneous Tasks: Train users in CPQ and SAP, provide multilingual training in German and English, and perform additional tasks as required to achieve company goals.

Customer Data Management: Manage and ensure the integrity and accuracy of customer data in Salesforce and SAP systems and develop data quality standards

Function as subject matter expert in improvement projects at the intersection of commercial and IT
Requirements:

Several years of experience in IT support, particularly in the management of SAP ERP and CRM systems.

Deep understanding of the modules and processes in SAP Order to Pay.

Experience in training users, ideally in an international environment.

Strong communication skills in English, or German and any additional European languages are desirable but not mandatory.

Problem-solving skills and an independent working style.

Ability to collaborate with different departments and international teams.
