We are seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of our enterprise Azure landing zone.

* Designing and leading the architectural vision for Continental's Azure cloud landing zone, establishing enterprise-wide guardrails, principles, and patterns that align with Microsoft's recommended practices and Azure roadmap
* Driving strategic cloud platform enhancements in security, compliance, connectivity, and governance while providing technical oversight of the entire Azure landing zone infrastructure
* Architecting and enforcing cloud security controls across the enterprise, including automated compliance monitoring, vulnerability remediation processes, and integration with existing identity management systems
* Overseeing the development and implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for automated provisioning, configuration, and management of Azure cloud landing zone
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders to provide secure, compliant access to Azure IaaS and PaaS offerings
* Troubleshooting platform issues and improving service documentation
## Qualifications
* Academic degree in computer science, another technical field or an equivalent qualification
* Several years of experience architecting cloud platforms (primarily Azure) and cloud infrastructure in enterprise environments
* Thorough experience in DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD implementation, version control systems, and automation tools within cloud environments
* General knowledge of at least one of high-level scripting language (e.g. Python, TypeScript) and Infrastructure as Code tooling (e.g. Azure Resource Manager, Terraform)
* Basic understanding of IT service management of advantage
* Strong technical leadership and excellent communication skills combined with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and a team-oriented attitude
* Professional working proficiency in English
