Cloud Network Engineer(m/w/x)

## Job Description Scalable Capital was built in the cloud from day one. Our services currently run on various AWS services like ECS Fargate and Lambda and utilise a multi account strategy. We embrace a DevOps culture where the development teams manage their own CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for their services themselves. Our Cloud Network Engineering Team focuses on a reusable and modular cloud networking infrastructure to enable the development teams to deploy and operate services in the cloud productively and securely. * You will provide and maintain secure, highly scalable networks and communications middleware to ensure transparent and always on connectivity for our most critical applications and partner integrations * You will be responsible for improving infrastructure and deployment automation using tools like Terraform, AWS Lambda and Python to enable engineering teams all things networking * You will work on reliability and cost optimization of our AWS networking infrastructure * You will guide and empower our engineering teams to further cultivate our DevOps culture ## Qualifications * Multiple years of experience with AWS services, especially VPC, Transit Gateway, Network Firewall, Direct Connect, Route 53, CloudFront, ELB, ECS, IAM, Lambda and S3 * Proficient with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform. * Proficient in at least one general-purpose programming language, preferably Python * Preferably prior experience in managing enterprise-grade networking solutions, such as VPNs or Leased Lines * Experience in low level network debugging (tcpdump), VPN (IPSEC, GRE) and Cisco IOS * A passion for automating and improving processes while keeping Security in mind * A degree in a relevant field of study (e.g. computer science, engineering, sciences) or work experience in a role that typically requires a university degree * Ability to communicate effectively and concisely in an international English-speaking environment ## Additional Information * Be part of one of the fastest-growing and most visible Fintech startups in Europe, creating innovative services that have a substantial impact on the lives of our customers * Work with an international, diverse, inclusive, and ever-growing team that loves creating the best products for our clients * Work from our centrally located offices in the heart of Munich or Berlin, nestled in lively neighborhoods filled with vibrant restaurants, cozy cafés, and a wide range of convenient amenities * Be productive with the latest hardware and tools * Learn and grow by joining our in-house knowledge sharing sessions and spending your individual Education Budget * Learn and experience German culture first hand by joining our free German language classes * (International) relocation support * Flexible vacation policy and the opportunity to work from abroad * Benefit from an attractive compensation package and from the company pension scheme * Monthly contribution of 25% for the ‘Deutschland Jobticket’ * Say goodbye to order commissions and say hello to your complimentary subscription of Scalable Capital's PRIME+ Broker
