•Strong chemical knowledge
•Minimum 5 years of industry experience
•University degree in chemical engineering or equivalent
•Extensive knowledge of textile testing and chemical quality standards
•Knowledge of market legislations and regulations
•Extensive knowledge of laboratory testing procedures
•Extensive working knowledge of chemicals in consumer products
•Excellent knowledge of chemicals in textile production and environmental impact
•Extensive knowledge of fabrics, garments, and associated quality legislation
•Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
•Fluency in English
•Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite and PDM/PLM

•Manage REACH and restricted chemicals
•Establish a compliance strategy for C&A
•Act as the lead expert in chemical safety and textile labeling
•Provide expert input for new product development
•Attend industry committee meetings on behalf of C&A
•Stay updated on chemical developments in the market
•Respond to inquiries from authorities and NGOs regarding products
•Deliver training to QMTS, business units, and suppliers
•Provide proactive input on sustainability and technical requests
•Lead projects and manage cross-functional collaboration
