Original Beschreibung

## Your Tasks * Conducting condition negotiations, including annual negotiations * Ensuring sales and margin targets for the defined River and promotional product portfolio, as well as refinancing marketing activities * Developing long-term category strategies with all functional stakeholders, taking market conditions into account * Tracking the strategy in collaboration with other functions (including follow-up on condition agreements, supplier performance, product performance) * Regular review and optimization of the entire assortment listing using standardized tools (channel-appropriate approach for multichannel / online / marketplace) in coordination with key stakeholders * Creating forecasts for management purposes * Identifying optimization potential and verifying conclusions drawn from the comparison of plan vs. actual * Effective and efficient information management, including the provision of information essential for performance management * Multichannel (offline/online) responsibility in managing KPIs ## Your Profile * Qualified knowledge of MS Office * Understanding of the holistic category management process * Experience in the role of Category Manager at a comparable retailer/wholesaler * Proficient in handling market and company data from common sources such as Nielsen or GfK * Strong analytical skills and understanding of commercial implications * Ability to communicate effectively with different target groups across functions and departments * In-depth experience in developing an assortment strategy, defining assortment tactics, and successfully implementing an assortment area – overall responsibility for the “lifecycle” of an assortment segment * Experience with suppliers as well as price and terms negotiations * Business-fluent English skills * High degree of self-organization and ability to work in a goal-oriented manner under time pressure * Ability to communicate effectively with different target groups across functions and departments * Ability to build and positively influence relationships at all levels ## Additional Benefits ## Job Infos ​Location: Ingolstadt MediaMarktSaturn Deutschland Department: HQ - Group Indirect Procurement & Category Management Entrylevel: Professional Level Type of Employement: Full Time Working Hours: 37,5 Persona: Job Requisition HQ Employee Recruiter: Lea Theresa Ellerich
