# Category Manager Logistics (m/f/d)

## Your tasks
* Be the sourcing expert for the logistics category representing a spend more than 100m€
* Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to ensure internal customer satisfaction. Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
* In collaboration with stakeholders, build, execute and maintain all category strategies relevant to Logistics
* Perform supply market analysis and monitors supply markets. Benchmark industry and evaluating new opportunities to be included in the sourcing strategies and supplier selection process
* Execute tendering processes and supplier selection to accomplish the highest possible value creation and supplier performance level
* Negotiate the strategic contracts
* Maintain the category saving pipeline, track saving projects, supplier performance by establishing relevant KPI’s. Ensure compliance relative to targets.
* Manage supply risk through the identification of internal and external risks and develops mitigation actions.
* Act as the escalation point for major problems and issues
## Your profile
* Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience in strategic Logistics Procurement in an international industrial company with a strong track record of delivering results
* Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar, member of a professional body like CIPS desirable but not essential
* Excellent knowledge of strategic sourcing and procurement techniques, processes, and tools with a proven capability to analyze data and develop strategies through to implementation
* Skills and talent in complex negotiations
* Experience of active leadership of cross-functional project teams across multiple countries in a matrix organization
* Successful stakeholder management and excellent communication skills
* Drive for results, stimulate a culture of continuous improvement, constantly re-evaluating better ways of doing things
* Command of English language is essential
