Job Description Category Expert - Procurement IT (d/m/f) Premstaetten, Austria ## Your new responsibilities * Functional responsibility for all procurement activities and related processes for the Category Business Group (CBG) IT (Hardware, Services) * Development of procurement strategies in close cooperation with the international Category Business Team (CBT) * Initiating and pursuing of bundling-, standardization- and productivity-improvement measures * Development of market analyses and selection of key suppliers for the implementation of these strategies in coordination with the CBT * Management of cost-cut projects, annual price negotiations including contract management, as well as setting up project-related tenders * Responsible for the achievement of the global CBG KPIs according to the target agreement with Global Procurement * Supporting and advising the specialist departments in the central units and in the business units Who we are looking for * Successfully completed studies in the field of business administration or industrial engineering/computer science or comparable qualifications * Several years of professional experience as an IT buyer or as a specialist in the IT environment * Good technical knowledge in your area of responsibility as well as good international market knowledge * Very good and confident use of IT tools such as MS Office and SAP/ARIBA * Very good negotiation skills, strong communication skills and assertiveness * Fluency in English, strong analytical thinking skills and a high level of initiative * Occasional willingness to travel (~ 10%) We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification.
