## Job Description
**Buyer (f/m/d)**
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a **Buyer (f/m/d)** to join our high performing and fast-paced Procurement Team at Rolls-Royce Deutschland in **Dahlewitz near Berlin.**
In this dynamic role, you’ll be at the forefront of creating our procurement strategies, selecting top tier suppliers, negotiating optimal deals, finalising contracts, and managing the contracts to ensure a high performing supply chain which is vital to our business performance and overall success.
**Key Accountabilities:**
* Strategic Sourcing - Where designated, you will support the execution of sourcing and commercial activities to maximise the value proposition across designated commodities / categories. You will be able to gain a fact-based understanding of current supply base, supplier economics and major trends in relevant markets
* Strategy - Support the development and deployment of relevant integrated commodity / category / supplier strategies, providing a clear vision and strategic framework for the designated supply chain(s). Work collaboratively, as part of a highly skilled cross functional teams to ensure that strategies meet the needs of current and future manufacturing programmes
* Stakeholder Management - Nurture effective relationships with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external to the function in order to support functional priorities. Collaborate with other areas of business to ensure purchasing agreements are placed and executed on time
* Supplier Relationships - Where designated, be responsible for the effective day to day management of partners and suppliers
* Undertake contract management to manage supplier performance and proactively seek cost reductions opportunities through multiple dimensions of price, specification and quantity Programme management - You will have good planning and project management skills that are able to develop comprehensive workable solutions in complex situations and will support the deployment of risk management practices to assess, communicate and mitigate supply chain risks
* Processes and Procedures - Accountable for compliance to company policies, processes and procedures, ensuring all purchasing records and documentations are correct and maintained in line with regulatory requirements
* Keep up to date on market trends and technologies
**Qualifications and Skills:**
* A degree within a business or economics discipline or equivalent
* Strong analytical and numerical skills, ability to analyse financial proposals, data and perform data analytics using a range of tools
* Exposure to tender processes, the negotiation and contract drafting of new supplier contracts
* Experience of managing supplier relationship and in contract supplier management
* Good planning / project management skills
* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels in an organisation
* Global outlook and exposure to different challenges, cultures and ways of working
* Fluent English (written and spoken)
