At Vontobel Asset Management, we are seeking a highly organized and proactive professional to join our team as a Business Management Specialist. This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with the Regional Sales Head of International Business, based in Madrid, Spain, while also collaborating closely with the global Chief of Staff in Zurich, Switzerland. With the flexibility to be based in either Madrid or Zurich, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our International Business operations across EMEA (excluding DACH), the Middle East, US On- and Offshore, and LatAm markets. If you have a proven track record in asset management, a strategic mindset, and a passion for enabling success in a global environment, we would love to hear from you! **What would your role be?** **Strategic Business Management** * Partner with the Regional Sales Head International Business to define and execute strategic priorities across EMEA (ex. DACH), the Middle East, US On- and Offshore, and LatAm markets. * Lead the coordination and tracking of strategic initiatives, business plans, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with organizational goals. * Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and support the development of regional market strategies. * Collaborate with the global Chief of Staff to drive cross-regional projects and initiatives, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with global priorities. * Prepare high-impact presentations, business cases, and reports for senior leadership, internal stakeholders, and external clients. **Sales Enablement & Client Support** * Act as a strategic partner to regional sales teams, ensuring they are equipped with the tools, insights, and resources needed to succeed. * Collaborate with internal teams, including product specialists, marketing, compliance, and client service, to deliver tailored solutions for institutional clients. * Oversee the management and optimization of CRM systems (Salesforce), ensuring accurate tracking of client interactions, pipeline activity, and sales performance. * Support the planning and execution of high-profile client events, roadshows, and conferences in partnership with marketing and events teams. **Operational Excellence & Team Coordination** * Drive operational excellence by streamlining processes, improving workflows, and implementing best practices across the International Business team. * Act as the central point of contact for regional sales team coordination, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across teams and geographies. * Facilitate leadership meetings, including agenda setting, action tracking, and follow-up on key deliverables. * Support the onboarding of new hires and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team. **What are we looking for?** **Education & Experience** * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business management, sales support, or strategic role within the asset management or financial services industry. **Skills & Competencies** * Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans. * Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization. * High level of discretion and professionalism; trusted to handle sensitive and confidential information. * Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred). * International mindset and ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones. **What do we offer?** * Top Zurich / Madrid location with collaboration spaces * Friendly, diverse team in an open-office space. * All the latest technology to help you excel and advance. * Agile environment in how we think, the way we work and our trust for each other. * Flat hierarchy with collaboration at all levels. * Campus feeling and a collaborative spirit.
