# Business Development Manager (m/f/*) **DE, Neuss** | **Full time** | **Hybrid** **Job Description:** **The Impact You’ll Make in this Role** As a **Business Development Manager,** located in Germany for **Personal Safety Division**, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make impact by: * Achieving growth targets in the hospital market * Supporting our sales partners in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland * Strategic development of sales/the sales partners through targeted market analyses and business development measures * Establishing and maintenance of partnerships with clinics, medical facilities, purchasing groups, and other relevant stakeholders * Conducting competitive analyses to identify market opportunities and risks * Close collaboration with internal departments such as product management, marketing, and sales * Creation of business plans, revenue forecasts, and reports to measure the success of the implemented measures **Your Skills and Expertise** To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements: * Successfully completed vocational training or studies in the economic or technical field * Relevant experience and network in the healthcare/hospital industry * Strong sales and profit mentality as well as strategic thinking * Distinct, authentic, and target group-oriented communication skills * Willingness to travel within the DACH region * Strong implementation skills and high self-motivation * Extensive experience in dealing with purchasing groups in the hospital market * Fluent in German and English Additional qualifications that could help you succeed further in this role include: * Experience in the field of Personal Safety - Occupational Safety * Experience in the field of trade or experience in collaboration with the trade **Job specifics:** * Location: Germany * Territory: DACH (Germany, Austria & Switzerland) At 3M, we believe diversity & inclusion are essential to innovation.
