Based in Zurich, they are looking for a Business Development **MANAGER** (M/W)
**Position Overview:** They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join their Zurich office. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth by identifying new business opportunities, forging strong client relationships, and enhancing our market presence within the infrastructure and construction sectors. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the industry and a proven track record in business development.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* **Market Analysis:** Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and new business opportunities in the infrastructure and construction sectors.
* **Strategic Planning:** Develop and implement business development strategies that align with our client's goals and objectives, focusing on sustainable financial growth and market expansion.
* **Client Acquisition:** Identify and pursue new business opportunities in targeted markets, developing and implementing strategic plans to secure new clients and projects.
* **Relationship Management:** Maintain and deepen relationships with existing clients and partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and identifying opportunities for additional collaboration.
* **Proposal Development:** Collaborate with internal teams to prepare compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate our client's value proposition to potential clients.
* **Contract Negotiation:** Lead negotiations with clients, partners, and stakeholders to secure favorable terms and agreements that benefit the client and our client.
* **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work closely with the project development, design, and construction teams to ensure seamless project initiation and execution.
* **Brand Promotion:** Represent our client at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance the company's visibility and reputation.
**Qualifications:**
* **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
* **Experience:** Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development within the construction or infrastructure industry, with a proven track record of achieving growth targets.
* **Industry Knowledge:** Strong understanding of the construction and infrastructure sectors, including market dynamics, regulatory environments, and industry best practices.
* **Skills:**
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
* Proficiency in negotiation and closing deals.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
