## Your Challenge
Are you ready to lead the future of Bioscience across EMEA? Do you bring a deep understanding of customer needs, commercial strategy, and cross-functional collaboration? We are looking for a visionary and results-driven Business Development Director Bioscience EMEA to join our regional leadership team and unlock the next level of growth for this dynamic business unit.
As Business Development Director Bioscience, you will define and execute commercial strategies, ensuring we meet revenue, market presence, and customer satisfaction goals across the EMEA region. You’ll be a strategic connector between the global business unit and regional teams, guiding how we go to market, develop offerings, and capture new opportunities.
**Sales Strategy & Growth**
* Set the strategic direction for sustainable growth in revenue and profitability
* Collaborate with the VP Sales to establish and exceed annual targets
* Ensure optimal sales team coverage and performance across EMEA markets
* Lead input into pricing and channel strategies, and long-term marketing roadmaps
* Identify and drive new growth areas with regional and global partners
* Act as a key contributor to product and solution innovation by relaying market insights
* Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and strategic account
**Sales Leadership & Team Collaboration**
* Foster commercial excellence across all EMEA markets and customer segments
* Lead and coordinate a virtual, cross-functional team aligned with strategic goals
* Align marketing resources and messages around Bioscience priorities
* Collaborate across functions to develop and execute innovative commercial concepts
* Drive talent development, cross-organizational engagement, and horizontal collaboration
* Ensure strong buy-in from stakeholders and seamless delivery of strategic initiative
**Market & Competitive Intelligence**
* Stay ahead of customer needs, market shifts, and competitive dynamics
* Leverage deep domain expertise to shape business decisions and inform innovation
* Translate market trends into actionable strategies and recommendations
## Your profile
* Degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management, or a related field
* Strong business acumen with deep expertise in Bioscience or related sectors
* Proven success in driving commercial growth and expanding market presence
* Insight into healthcare, laboratory, and pharmaceutical procurement dynamics
* Experience in a matrixed, multinational environment with strong internal/external stakeholder management
* Strategic thinker with clear, concise communication skills
* Willingness to travel internationally as needed
* Fluent in English
## Our Offer
We offer you an exciting and autonomous role in a modern, collaborative working environment. In addition to numerous attractive employee benefits, the minimum annual gross salary for this position, in accordance with the collective agreement for the Austrian chemical industry, is EUR 78.383,90. The actual salary will be based on your qualifications and professional experience and will be agreed upon individually
