**Position Summary**
As a **Brand Manager Confectionery,** you will be an integral part of our marketing team, supporting brand management activities and contributing to the execution of marketing strategies. You will manage a diverse portfolio of brands and products, while assisting the Communication Manager in implementing strategic brand initiatives. **A Day in the Life of a Brand Manager Confectionery**
* Accountable for After Eight, Smarties as well as the full Seasonal Portfolio
* Responsible for the delivery of a 3-year brand and portfolio plan. Identify new, consumer insight driven, innovative ideas to drive brand growth. Develop new product ideas, renovation to current products and strategies. Demonstrate vision and leadership in building of Long Term I&R Pipeline
* Leading communication initiatives with the support the Communication Manager in executing strategic brand campaigns, events and activations throughout the marketing funnel
* Organize and manage various marketing initiatives, including product launches, promotional activities, and customer engagement events, ensuring alignment with brand and business objectives
* Analyze business and consumer trends to identify key issues and build innovative brand plans, demonstrating strong consumer insight and strategic brand-building capabilities
* Lead cross functional teams and collaborate with zone and local production teams (factory, copackers, comanufactures) to develop winning products
* Conduct market analysis using Nielsen data and apply financial acumen to develop business cases in collaboration with finance teams
* Monitor and manage budgets for marketing activities, ensuring effective resource allocation and adherence to financial targets while maximizing return on investment
**What will make you successful**
* Proven experience in Brand Management or a similar marketing role
* A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
* Fluency in German (oral and written), with proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a plus
* Proven project management experience with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
* Successful experience in achieving goals through collaboration with cross-functional teams
* Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively
* A team player who can work autonomously when needed, with a curious mindset and eagerness to propose innovative ideas to enhance marketing activities
