Current solutions use single sliders, tick boxes or edit fields to control the visualization of and the interaction with this data by usage of keyboard and mouse. A new approach would be to use a set of real hardware sliders, buttons, rotaries or wheels, to allow for a simultaneous control of multiple data items and therewith speed up the interaction process.
