**Associate Director, Business Development, Payers, Providers & Government**
We help Payers, Providers & Government optimize population health management through the work we do to improve patient outcomes.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven **IT Health Solutions Sales Specialist** to drive sales efforts targeting **payers and healthcare providers in Switzerland**. This role is crucial in expanding our market presence, fostering strong client relationships, and delivering **cutting-edge technology solutions** that enhance efficiency, patient care, and operational performance.
This includes the entire IQVIA portfolio of solutions sold to the EMEA PPG segment, including Global RW tech solutions such as Privacy Analytics, ARA (patient data platform), Genomics, Linguamatics (NLP), OMOP and AI & ML as well as country and regional PPG focused within the Lift & Shift program, including HealthPlug, HIS, Healthflow, Health Data Flight etc.
**Responsibilities**
* Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to engage **Swiss healthcare payers and providers**, ensuring alignment with market needs.
* Achieve individual annual sales target based on selling to **Payer, Provider & Government** (PPG) clients across the offering suite to attain TCV quotas.
* Deploy extensive senior level **external networking** to develop contacts and engage clients to drive your opportunity pipeline e.g., generating leads.
* Personally, **lead key strategic and large opportunities** that are critical to achieving regional plan and financial goals.
* Partner with EMEA PPG sales teams to adopt and sell established solutions from the PPG portfolio.
* Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while nurturing existing relationships to **maximize growth potential**.
* Present, promote, and **sell IT health solutions** to key stakeholders, effectively demonstrating their impact on operational excellence and patient care.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including **product development, marketing, and technical support**, to ensure seamless implementation and client satisfaction.
* Stay informed on **market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape** to drive informed business strategies.
* Negotiate contracts and pricing while ensuring compliance with **Swiss healthcare industry** regulations and company policies.
* Support the build out of account plans and develop /evolve client specific account strategies.
**Requirements**
* Bachelor’s degree in with substantial experience in healthcare industry including: -
* +10 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or account management within the healthcare or IT solutions industry.
* Strong understanding of Swiss healthcare system, including payer-provider dynamics and regulatory requirements.
* Proven track record of selling directly to healthcare clients, ideally within the provider Health IT and/or operational clinical systems area.
* Extensive knowledge of Health IT tech offerings, customer account management and the Healthcare industry – Payor, Provider and Government knowledge desired.
* Demonstrated ability to influence senior level execs at customer organizations.
* Ability to work independently and engage wider go to market stakeholders across organization both internally and externally.
* Fluent in English, German and French highly preferred
