Anforderungen
- •University Master and Doctoral degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Mechanical Engineering, Material Science and proficiency in English
- •Proven expertise in experimental characterization and computational modeling of complex engineering materials
- •Outstanding achievements and potential in research, excellent publication record, international reputation
- •Experience in designing and participating in research projects and in acquiring third-party funding, willingness and ability to lead research groups
- •Social competence and ability to work in a team
- •Enthusiasm for interdisciplinary cooperation with research units within the Institute and faculty as well as other faculties of TUW
- •Eagerness to develop national and international cooperations with industry and academia worldwide
- •Experience in thermodynamic modeling and experimental characterization of materials
- •Experience in academic teaching and supervising or co-supervising of academic theses
- •Scientific activity outside TU Wien, preferentially outside Austria
- •Willingness to learn German for teaching and participation in management of the institute and university bodies

- •Model thermodynamics of metallic alloys
- •Develop innovative cement-based materials
- •Study interactions between ferrous materials and cements
- •Teach classes and lab courses in Civil and Environmental Engineering
- •Teach Calphad Methods in Material Science and Engineering
- •Supervise master and doctoral theses
- •Perform general administrative tasks for the research unit
- •Engage in university committees
- •Mentor researchers and students
- •Manage your own research group
