Anforderungen
- •Knowledge of the occupational safety domain
- •Experience in risk assessments, incident analysis, safety inspections
- •Specific knowledge in a safety domain (fire, chemical, cryogenic, radiation protection)
- •Ability to work in a team
- •Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- •Spoken and written English or French, commitment to learn the other language
- •Nationality of a CERN Member or Associate Member State
- •Professional background in Engineering or Physics, Master's degree with 2 to 6 years of experience or PhD with up to 3 years of experience
- •No previous CERN fellow or graduate contract
- •Work in Radiation Areas
- •Interventions in underground installations
- •Valid driving licence
- •Exposure to electromagnetic fields under certain conditions
- •Medical clearance required before contract offer

- •Conduct risk assessments for EP activities and installations
- •Follow up on the implementation of control measures
- •Perform safety inspections for EP activities and installations
- •Coordinate technical inspections with domain experts
- •Assist supervisors in creating safety documentation
- •Update the related Safety File
- •Create incident analysis reports
- •Follow up on action plan resolutions
- •Participate in periodic safety meetings
- •Interact with other Safety Officers and stakeholders
- •Utilize specialized safety knowledge in relevant domains
