**JOB PURPOSE:**
We are looking for a strong Assistant Finance Business Partner (d/f/m) for our Austrian team, supporting strategic business decisions, providing relentless focus on the cash and value, while setting up a strong stewardship function in a highly volatile environment. This role will report into the Ice Cream Head of Finance of Austria and Switzerland.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
The role of the Assistant Finance Business Partner Austria (d/f/m) is to help with the performance for the Austrian team by providing strong financial support to the business. The focus in this role will be (but not limited to) Sales controlling and Business Partnering. The incumbent contributes together with the DACH finance team and the local organisation to set-up and further improving processes and ways of working in the organization.
During the separation timeframe, activities will gradually migrate from previous teams if needed as we set up the new organization. High level of flexibility will be required.
* Management of country P&L and controlling of business targets (top & bottom line)
* Monthly Finance Reviews and performance management
* Support S&OP Process, from Sales activities to financial Cash Up. Driving high-quality volume/assumptions based forecasting process, ensuring cross-functional alignment, good forecast accuracy and providing visibility on risks and opportunities
* IBP / Strategic Planning
* Driving high reporting standards throughout the organization
* Support the Austrian Sales team in yearly negotiations, track progress and activate corrective actions, Supporting development of customer/channel strategy
* Decision support to sales & marketing leaders on relevant local business initiatives
* Support budget control, Rebate and Overdue management, ensuring correct trade accruals/rebates through well-controlled process
* Support in balance sheet reviews and local Finflex initiatives supported by DACH Controlling team
* Follow-up on audit points and improve controlling processes together with DACH controlling team
**WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:**
**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:**
* Professional finance qualification equivalent to CA, CIMA, ACCA MBA or Masters degree desirable
* 3 years + of experience in comparable finance roles
* Has a good understanding of FMCG P&L & experience with month-end/ FC processes
* Knowledge of modern trade / negotiation cadence and Swiss and Austrian trade environment a plus
* Excellent commercial acumen & strong business partnering credentials with a proven track record on delivery
* Owner’s mindset towards business challenges. Ability to tackle complex situations, evaluate alternative courses of action, and provide fact-based solutions.
* Excellent inter-personal, communication in German and English, organizational, and analytic skills, with ability to influence and steer the decisions and work collaboratively

Depending on qualifications and professional experience, this position offers a gross annual salary starting at €50,000 with a willingness to pay above this amount depending on qualifications and professional experience.
