**Area Sales Manager, Italy - DE - Remote Office**
**Location: Remote (Home Office) in South Germany**
**Job Summary**
We have an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Area Sales Manager to build new and existing business with accounts in the defined country. As Area Sales Manager you will have a background in field sales and be adept at managing your own time, meeting customers face to face and be a confident seller. You will ideally come from a tools or electrical background and have a good knowledge and understanding of this sector.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Work towards attainable monthly and annual sales targets to increase sales revenue and provide organic growth.
Develop the Distribution Channel for Cleco / Apex in Italy, but not limited to:
• Presenting Cleco / Apex products and solutions to customers and prospects in the assigned area, with special focus on Italy
• Managing existing distributor base, through evaluation, ranking and benchmarking tools
• Identify and develop new distributors, negotiate and close contracts with them
• Focusing the distributor network on vertical markets, matching markets and differentiated product offering
• Identify, develop and manage new customers to achieve company´s sales targets
• Being fully responsible for quotations, negotiations and order intake
• Active market research, being informed about competition and trends
**Critical Skills & Qualifications:**
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 8+ years Sales experience within the industry and have experience of selling similar products (Power Tools / Electrical)
• Experience with managing international distributor networks specifically in Italy
• Experience in Market Management, specifically Italy
• Proven Sales Track Record as Area Sales Manager
• Up to 50% in Italy and frequently international travel will be required
• Mandatorily Fluent in Italian and English; German is a plus
• You are eligible to work in Germany & your place of residence is in South Germany (home office)
