# Responsibilities:
**Mold making:** You will learn how to make casting and injection molds or devices for industrial series production and mechanical engineering - all with high-tech CNC machine tools that you program yourself!
**Materials science:** You will discover the different materials, assess their properties and produce workpieces and components according to precise production documents.
**Technology in detail:** You will understand and work with assistance, simulation, diagnostic and visualization systems. You will also maintain and service the equipment that is essential for production.
**Control and assembly:** You will learn how to assemble components and modules according to assembly plans and work with state-of-the-art control technology.
