Anforderungen

  • •Valid FAA A&P certificate or FCC License (with Elements 1 and 3)
  • •Minimum of two years aviation maintenance experience
  • •US Citizenship for NAC-I Clearance and base access
  • •Valid US Passport
  • •High School Graduate or equivalent
  • •Five years of recent applicable aircraft maintenance experience
  • •Three years aviation maintenance experience, three years rotary wing aircraft experience, and two years on assigned AH-64 MDS
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain US Government Security Clearance
  • •Valid US Passport for deployment to Germany
  • •Five years total aviation maintenance experience for TESA approval
  • •Travel as required in support of task order
  • •Ability to climb, stand, stoop, bend, stretch, crouch, and work in tiring positions
  • •Frequently lift parts and equipment up to 20 pounds
  • •Occasionally lift objects up to 50 pounds
  • •Immediately deployable to potential combat areas worldwide

  • •Perform maintenance and inspections on AH-64 systems to FAA standards
  • •Execute full-range military tactical aircraft maintenance as an AH-64 mechanic
  • •Conduct repair functions including assembly and modification on various Army and DoD aircraft
  • •Install, connect, and adjust complete systems such as fuel, heat, lubrication, hydraulic, engine, and transmission
  • •Align fuselage parts and balance, align, and install tail rotor assemblies
  • •Rig complete flight control systems
  • •Incorporate authorized modifications and changes
  • •Conduct operational checks of hydraulic and fuel systems using external power sources
  • •Inspect and troubleshoot to identify malfunctions
  • •Disassemble components to locate issues and adjust, repair, or replace defective parts
  • •Utilize a variety of common hand tools and measuring devices effectively
  • •Determine when faulty systems can be repaired or require replacement parts
  • •Read, apply, and interpret technical data accurately
  • •Prepare forms and records related to aircraft maintenance
  • •Perform additional duties as required
  • •Communicate effectively and adapt to diverse troubleshooting tasks
  • •Apply knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and associated systems principles
  • •Understand Quality Control, Production, and Supply procedures relevant to job assignments
