# Aftermarket Customer Representative FHN (m/w/d)
**Malsch, Germany** | **Full time**
**Position Summary:**
The **Aftermarket Customer Representative** is responsible for supporting customers and managing their sales and order activities, including identifying and pursuing aftermarket sales opportunities, creating quotes and order acknowledgements, and expediting orders through production. The goals are to be achieved with financially and ethically sound methods, with an emphasis on the principles of the Hillenbrand Operating Model (HOM).
**Work You’ll Do:**
* Build strong relationships with customers, outside sales representative, dealers, and colleagues through timely and effective written and verbal communication
* Identify aftermarket sales opportunities and prepare and process quotes accurately, leverage CRM/ERP tools to manage sales pipeline.
* Reviewing the purchase orders for accuracy while handling any discrepancies and entering the orders precisely.
* Providing customer service and administering post-order activities in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction. These activities include providing order acknowledgments, expediting purchasing and operations, tracking orders, and providing order status updates.
* Create and process change orders, Return Material Authorizations (RMAs), and Credit Memos when needed.
* Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly to maintain strong client relationships.
* Other duties as assigned.
* Travel ≤ 20%
* This role will be a part of the Aftermarket FHN, EMEA & Asia
**Basic Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
* Demonstrate experience in a customer facing role, preferably in manufacturing
* A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
* Strong written and verbal communication skills while being detail and process oriented
* Possess problem solving and customer service skills.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Dual language, German and English required.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Industrial technical background preferred.
* Experience in managing a team in related industry.
* Knowledge of market trends and ability to adapt to changing trends.
