# Acoustics and Vibration Engineer (d/f/m) **Manching** | **Full time** ****Job Description:**** In order to support Acoustics and Vibration Manching, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a # “Acoustics and Vibration Engineer” (d/f/m) The Loads, Aeroelasticity and Acoustics Domain is part of the Flight Physics Centre of Competence at Airbus Defence and Space. Our mission is to design, analyse, certify, qualify, maintain into service and ensure the continued airworthiness of all the airvehicles developed within Airbus Defence and Space. Functions and Responsibilities of the Acoustics and Vibration Domain are Equipment and Store Qualification, External and Internal Noise Design and Development, Ground Test and Laboratory Activities, Support of Flight Test Campaigns. Main Aircraft Programmes are Eurofighter, Tornado, Eurodrone and FCAS. ****Your tasks and responsibilities**** As Acoustics and Vibration Engineer your main tasks and responsibilities will include: * Acoustics and Vibration Analyses for the Integration of new Equipment and Stores; * Definition, preparation, execution and support of Qualification Tests, Ground and Flight Test Campaigns; * Management of external Suppliers and Partners. ****Desired skills and qualifications**** * M.Sc in Aeronautic Engineering. * Experience in Aerospace Engineering or similar. * Experience in the field of Acoustics and Vibration. * Experience with Structural Dynamic Testing. * Experience with Data Acquisition, Data Handling, Data Processing and Analysis. * Knowledge in Definition of Vibration Environments. * Knowledge of Vibration Qualification Processes. * Knowledge in Modal Testing and Analysis. * Experience with MIL-STD-810 would be an advantage. * Basic Knowledge of Linux. * Experience with Matlab. * Ability to work in a multinational Team. * Problem solving attitude & capability of working in autonomy. * Availability to travel. * Fluent English is mandatory. * German would be an advantage. **Not a 100% match?
