Anforderungen
- •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Acoustics
- •Master’s degree in Engineering preferred
- •Tonmeister degree
- •Thorough knowledge of acoustics
- •Three years or more of design experience of audio systems or components
- •3-5+ years of experience in an audio related field
- •Specific experience in acoustical engineering, transducer engineering, digital signal processing, amplifier engineering, physical/psychoacoustics, and recording arts
- •Knowledge of best practices in product development and sound tuning
- •User experience and knowledge of audio tools
- •Basic knowledge of loudspeaker design
- •Excellent hearing capability
- •Detailed knowledge of acoustic theory, sound reproduction and sound system tuning
- •Experience on algorithm development and programming preferred (e.g. Matlab, C, C++)
- •Main communication language: English; optional: German, Swedish, Italian or French
- •Proficient in identifying and solving issues and recommending process improvements
- •Ability to cooperate on technical and artistical solutions
- •Project Management skills
- •Basic technical and construction skills
- •Open to travel to Harman sites within Europe (up to 75% of the time)
- •Drivers License

Deine Aufgaben
- •Design and tune automotive audio systems
- •Prepare technical requirements and presentation reports
- •Support departmental initiatives as directed
- •Provide technical support for customer and interdepartmental issues
- •Develop and document tools and best practices
- •Plan and manage customer projects with stakeholders
- •Lead discussions and support OEM customers
- •Oversee acoustic systems for specific OEM customers
- •Transport cars between customers and the car lab
- •Prepare for internal and external audits
- •Organize maintenance for local pool cars and equipment
- •Assist with mechanical tasks like disassembling and mounting components
- •Create and maintain documentation
- •Travel to customers and Harman sites across Europe
