Acoustic Systems Engineer(m/w/x)

As an Acoustic Systems Engineer, you will design and tune cutting-edge automotive audio systems while collaborating with OEM customers and managing projects. This role involves providing technical support, creating documentation, and occasional travel to ensure top-notch audio solutions.

Anforderungen

• •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Acoustics
• •Master’s degree in Engineering preferred
• •Tonmeister degree
• •Thorough knowledge of acoustics
• •Three years or more of design experience of audio systems or components
• •3-5+ years of experience in an audio related field
• •Specific experience in acoustical engineering, transducer engineering, digital signal processing, amplifier engineering, physical/psychoacoustics, and recording arts
• •Knowledge of best practices in product development and sound tuning
• •User experience and knowledge of audio tools
• •Basic knowledge of loudspeaker design
• •Excellent hearing capability
• •Detailed knowledge of acoustic theory, sound reproduction and sound system tuning
• •Experience on algorithm development and programming preferred (e.g. Matlab, C, C++)
• •Main communication language: English; optional: German, Swedish, Italian or French
• •Proficient in identifying and solving issues and recommending process improvements
• •Ability to cooperate on technical and artistical solutions
• •Project Management skills
• •Basic technical and construction skills
• •Open to travel to Harman sites within Europe (up to 75% of the time)
• •Drivers License
