Requirements

  • 15+ years of business development experience across payment types, technologies, and customer segments
  • Experience executing strategies into action plans in multiple markets
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Successful track record managing P&L and sales objectives for multiple markets
  • Business acumen with ability to create and communicate solutions for customer needs
  • Excellent command of business tools like Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strategic thinking and outstanding communication skills on all levels
  • Fluent English and German
  • Optional: More languages
  • Ability to work and build relationships in multicultural matrix organization
  • Good sense of humor
  • Strong work ethic and ambition
  • MBA, Master, or Bachelor degree
  • Abide by Mastercard's security policies and practices
  • Ensure confidentiality and integrity of information
  • Report suspected information security violations or breaches
  • Complete mandatory security trainings

Tasks

  • Lead and develop Mastercard’s Transfer Solutions in Central Europe
  • Collaborate with account managers and product teams to deepen customer relationships
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships
  • Drive innovation by launching new products and payment platforms
  • Adopt new business models and embrace new networks
  • Build new service revenue streams to enhance digital payments leadership
  • Develop and execute Transfer Solutions strategy in Central Europe
  • Create value propositions for key customers
  • Evaluate business cases, agreements, and partnerships
  • Conduct market analysis and recommend strategic improvements
  • Ensure Central Europe P&L accountability
  • Align market strategy with Mastercard’s global and Europe strategies
  • Work with peers to integrate cross-functional strategies
  • Explore new market opportunities with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Develop compelling customer pitches and value propositions
  • Educate and inspire the team and market about core products
  • Plan and track product performance against targets
  • Stay informed about market trends and bring new ideas
