Requirements

  • Several years of experience leading teams in payments, IT, or platform operations environment
  • Solid expertise in payment processing, ideally card acceptance, authorization systems, or payment schemes
  • Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or comparable qualification
  • Experience operating highly available 24/7 systems, incident and provider management
  • Strong technical understanding of complex system architectures, integrations, and data flows
  • Proven experience managing external service providers and leading complex, cross-functional projects
  • Ability to develop and implement technical concepts, feasibility analyses, and innovative solutions
  • Structured and analytical work style
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Very good German and English language skills (written and spoken)

  • Develop the Payment Processing team

  • Manage operational payment processing activities
  • Coordinate with processing service providers and vendors
  • Coordinate internal and external system stakeholders
  • Manage system testing, certifications, cutover, and hypercare
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call duty
  • Ensure online authorization availability
  • Develop IT concepts within your domain
  • Create architecture sketches and data flows
  • Design security, scalability, and resilience concepts
  • Lead innovative payment projects from concept to handover
  • Provide technical advice to internal stakeholders
