Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Business Informatics, or related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in supply chain/Operations project management, supply chain or digital transformation
  • Technical expertise in project and program management methodologies (PMP, Agile, Lean PMO)
  • Prior experience in Control Tower initiatives, supply chain visibility solutions, data analytics or large-scale digital programs (preferred)
  • Ability to lead large-scale, cross-functional projects with substantial business impact
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Ability to operate at intersection of business processes, data, analytics, and technology
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems into actionable solutions
  • Solid understanding of data platforms, integration concepts, and analytics enablement (without hands-on development)

Tasks

  • Define the target picture and long-term vision for the Supply Chain Control Tower
  • Align vision with supply chain strategy and digital transformation objectives
  • Gather and structure business requirements
  • Identify high-value use cases
  • Assess feasibility from process, data, and technology perspectives
  • Include emerging technologies like AI/ML in assessments
  • Translate business needs into end-to-end Control Tower architecture
  • Define architecture for data sources, analytics layers, and user interfaces
  • Define architecture for decision-support capabilities
  • Define data infrastructure requirements
  • Assess current data infrastructure limitations
  • Identify data quality improvement options
  • Identify data availability improvement options
  • Identify data latency improvement options
  • Identify data integration improvement options
  • Develop a modular implementation roadmap
  • Own the modular implementation roadmap
  • Enable phased, use-case-by-use-case deployment
  • Ensure architectural consistency during deployment
  • Coordinate Control Tower implementation with Operations teams
  • Coordinate Control Tower implementation with IT teams
  • Coordinate Control Tower implementation with Data teams
  • Coordinate Control Tower implementation with Digital teams
  • Ensure alignment across functions and geographies
  • Define a methodology for user acceptance
  • Define a methodology for usability testing
  • Define a methodology for adoption
  • Ensure solutions are intuitive for operational use
  • Ensure solutions fit for operational use
  • Establish architecture governance
  • Maintain architecture governance
  • Establish design standards
