Strategic Customer Success Manager(m/w/x)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, or similar)
  • Direct experience or deep understanding of CFD, FEA, or Thermal Analysis (highly preferred)
  • 5+ years in high-growth SaaS environment
  • Experience in technical customer-facing role (CSM, Account Management, or Technical Account Management)
  • Proven track record of carrying a quota
  • Successful management of renewals and expansions
  • Understanding of the business of engineering
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures
  • Ability to influence senior decision-makers
  • Ability to solve business problems
  • Comfort with CRM data (Salesforce/HubSpot)
  • Ability to use CRM data to drive strategy
  • Team-first mentality
  • Ability to thrive in a team-selling environment
  • Collaboration with Sales and Technical Account Teams

Tasks

  • Advise VPs, Directors, Executives, and Engineering Champions
  • Align SimScale capabilities with strategic goals
  • Manage commercial health of customer accounts
  • Ensure ARR retention
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Deliver accurate revenue forecasts
  • Lead Strategic Business Reviews (SBRs) and QBRs
  • Focus reviews on ROI, value realization, business impact
  • Identify at-risk accounts using data
  • Execute recovery and mitigation strategies
  • Represent the customer internally
  • Partner with Product and Engineering on roadmap
  • Collaborate with Marketing on customer advocacy and case studies
  • Leverage automation and best practices for portfolio management
  • Ensure high-touch experience via one-to-many strategies
