Requirements

  • 6+ years in related commercial role (complex solution sales or technology consulting)
  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent knowledge/experience
  • Understanding of SaaS business model
  • Ability to demonstrate complex software applications
  • Strong understanding of audit, risk, and compliance (highly desirable)
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of complex business challenges
  • Executive presence and senior-level communication ability
  • Ability to identify and navigate influencers vs. buyers
  • Ability to manage multiple complex sales cycles simultaneously
  • Demonstrated experience in enterprise sales success
  • Ability to negotiate pricing with value retention focus
  • Capability for achieving and exceeding sales quota targets
  • Reliable internet access for remote work

Tasks

  • Identify new business and customer expansion opportunities
  • Collaborate with Sales teams, Inside Sales, and Partnerships
  • Generate qualified sales pipeline
  • Conduct compelling demonstrations of the Workiva platform
  • Address customer objections and find solutions
  • Guide the sales process to a successful close
  • Update CRM tools with customer contacts
  • Forecast sales through pipeline analysis
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy
  • Rally internal support for account pursuit
  • Prioritize and follow through on selling activities
  • Maintain strong product knowledge through training
  • Share knowledge and best practices with peers
