Tasks
- Lead day-to-day HSE operations at Bonn site
- Ensure compliance with German HSE regulations
- Serve as primary contact for authorities and inspectors
- Maintain HSE documentation and compliance registers
- Track corrective actions and follow-ups
- Conduct local hazard identification and risk assessments
- Manage incident and near-miss reporting and investigations
- Perform root-cause analysis for incidents
- Promote prevention culture through campaigns and interventions
- Deliver local HSE inductions and role-based training
- Ensure contractors and visitors meet safety standards
- Establish employee participation mechanisms and feedback loops
- Coordinate fire safety, emergency preparedness, and drills
- Manage occupational health topics in office environments
- Define and report local HSE KPIs
- Manage local HSE budgets and external providers
- Design global HSE governance model
- Develop global HSE framework aligned with OH&S principles
- Implement incident management and global learning systems
- Create risk assessment methodology and control libraries
- Develop training and competence frameworks
- Establish contractor/supplier HSE requirements
- Manage business travel and travel risk (Duty of Care)
- Set site/facility safety baselines and emergency standards
- Address health protection and wellbeing fundamentals
- Build internal assurance approaches including audits
- Conduct and coordinate audits for Bonn and FSC locations
- Develop maturity models and remediation plans
- Partner with People & Culture, Facilities, Travel, IT, Legal/Compliance
- Drive adoption through training, communication, and cultural adaptation
