Senior FSQA Manager(m/w/x)

You will take full ownership of the fish and seafood category, ensuring global quality standards through international audits and strategic supplier development to drive customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• •5+ years Food Safety experience
• •Ideally fish and seafood exposure
• •Knowledge of EU food legislation
• •Knowledge of seafood-specific risks
• •Knowledge of international supply chains
• •Experience auditing against GFSI standards
• •HACCP certification
• •Additional food safety qualifications advantageous
• •Excellent English communication skills
• •Ability to influence and negotiate
• •Willingness to travel internationally
• •Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
• •Strong analytical and organizational skills
• •Pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset
• •Solid Google Suite or MS Office capabilities

Tasks

• •Lead food safety and quality for fish and seafood
• •Advise on legislation, product risks, and shelf life
• •Manage freezing processes, labeling, and import requirements
• •Conduct on-site audits across Europe and Southeast Asia
• •Approve international suppliers through regular site visits
• •Monitor supplier performance and compliance KPIs
• •Manage complaints and out-of-spec deliveries
• •Follow up on supplier corrective actions
• •Investigate quality incidents using root cause analysis
• •Implement robust corrective and preventive actions
• •Drive strategic quality initiatives to increase satisfaction
• •Support supplier negotiations with Procurement and Sourcing
• •Contribute to long-term supplier development
• •Onboard new suppliers and products
• •Establish standardized best practices across international markets
• •Ensure compliance with legal and traceability standards
