Requirements
- 5+ years experience in banking, fintech, strategy consulting, investment banking, or financial planning/controlling
- Degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Mathematics, or similar
- Strong financial modelling across P&L, balance sheet, and capital
- Advanced Excel & PowerPoint; experience with SQL, VBA, Python, Pigment is a plus
- Understanding of financial statements and cost structures in regulated industries
- Analytical, structured, detail-oriented, and hands-on approach
- Strong communication skills for translating complexity into clarity
- Effective collaboration across functions and comfort with senior stakeholders
- Ability to challenge assumptions, negotiate priorities, and operate in fast-moving environments
- Strong interest in fintech, banking, and regulatory frameworks
- Fluency in English; German is a plus
Tasks
- Lead budget and multi-year planning cycles
- Monitor performance against plans and recommend corrective actions
- Support various cost-efficiency initiatives
- Build integrated P&L, balance sheet, liquidity, and capital models
- Run scenario analyses under regulatory constraints
- Provide financial insights for C-level decision-making
- Prepare monthly reporting packs and variance analyses
- Analyze unit economics, margins, and capital impacts
- Align management, accounting, and regulatory financial views
- Plan and track direct costs, vendor spend, and OPEX
- Analyze cost drivers and partner cost-to-serve
- Partner with Procurement and P&O on cost optimization
- Support budgeting governance and four-eyes processes
- Ensure accurate allocations, accruals, and audit-ready documentation
- Provide financial guidance to Tech, Commercial, and Operations teams
- Support pricing, partner onboarding, and strategic initiatives
