Senior Financial Analyst - Business Partnering/Controlling(m/w/x)

Description

As a strategic partner to management, you will drive financial discipline and cost transparency while leveraging AI tools to automate reporting and scale the company's FP&A processes.

Requirements

• •3+ years experience in FP&A, controlling, or similar analytical finance role
• •Experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost controlling
• •Excellent Excel skills and experience with planning tools and cloud-based finance systems
• •Ability to partner with senior stakeholders and explain financial topics clearly
• •Structured, independent thinker with ability to turn data into insights
• •Understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and P&L performance
• •Familiarity with unit economics, cost efficiency metrics, and ROI thinking
• •Pragmatic, business-oriented mindset with ownership and accountability
• •Experience working with data teams, dashboards, SQL, Python, R, or BI tools

Tasks

• •Partner with senior stakeholders to guide strategic business decisions
• •Support budget owners with planning, forecasting, and cost management
• •Track OpEx and perform detailed variance analysis
• •Lead monthly cost reviews to identify savings and risks
• •Prepare financial materials for management and board meetings
• •Manage vendor spend and discretionary costs with an ROI focus
• •Analyze monthly financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
• •Deliver ad-hoc deep dives to support operational decisions
• •Challenge business assumptions to promote data-driven decision-making
• •Automate FP&A workflows using Pigment and AI-supported tools
• •Streamline financial processes to improve scalability and transparency
• •Lead projects that strengthen cost transparency across teams
