Requirements

  • Strong expertise in motor control systems (BLDC)
  • Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium)
  • Experience with embedded systems design (microcontrollers, FPGAs)
  • Knowledge of power electronics (DC/DC converters, battery management)
  • Familiarity with sensor integration (encoders, force/torque, IMUs, vision systems)
  • Understanding of communication protocols (ethercat, CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C)
  • Experience with harness design and cable management for moving systems
  • Ability to perform signal analysis and debugging (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)
  • Knowledge of safety standards for high-voltage and high-current applications
  • Experience with thermal management of power electronics
  • Background in designing electrical systems for articulated mechanisms
  • Experience with real-time control systems and feedback loops
  • Familiarity with lightweight power solutions for mobile applications
  • Knowledge of wireless power and data transmission and charging systems
  • Experience with failure mode analysis and reliability testing
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Self-motivated with passion for cutting-edge robotics technology
  • Detail-oriented with focus on robust system design
  • Adaptable to fast-paced development cycle

Tasks

  • Design and develop electrical systems for complex robotic systems
  • Select and integrate electronic components for optimal performance
  • Create schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring diagrams
  • Develop and maintain electrical documentation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in existing systems
  • Collaborate with mechanical and software teams for integration
  • Implement power distribution solutions
  • Design and validate safety circuits and fail-safe mechanisms
  • Support manufacturing during production and assembly
  • Conduct signal integrity analysis and EMI/EMC mitigation
