Tasks

  • Define and own electronic architecture for marine robotic systems
  • Ensure consistency across hardware, software, AI, and navigation interfaces
  • Lead component selection and define electronic design standards
  • Collaborate with AI and software engineers for on-board inference and sensor fusion
  • Work with navigation and control engineers to meet guidance and real-time control requirements
  • Design schematics and PCB layouts with mechatronics engineers
  • Mentor and guide electronics engineers in design reviews and documentation
  • Drive validation and verification campaigns, define test strategies
  • Perform hardware bring-up and lead electrical troubleshooting
  • Produce and maintain comprehensive design documentation
  • Ensure 2D/3D deliverables and manufacturing packages meet quality standards
