Senior Account Executive - Public Sector(m/w/x)
Selling AI development platform to public sector clients, managing sales cycles from discovery to close. Over 10 years direct sales experience required. Internal mobility program, global talent collective.
Requirements
- Over 10 years direct sales experience
- Ability to partner with System Integrators, Channel, Alliance partners
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Self-driven and ability to work independently
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years enterprise software direct/indirect selling experience
- 3+ years application/development space, SaaS, PaaS, Cloud experience
- Strong technical sales background
- Ability to explain business value to executives
- Experienced managing complex sales processes
- Experience/Success with named account selling model
- Proven track record partnering with Global/Local System Integrators/Channel Partners
Tasks
- Add new logos
- Manage the entire sales process from discovery to close
- Leverage network to gain selling opportunities
- Uncover and manage new selling opportunities in geographic territory
- Develop relationships with C-level executives across business and IT units
- Validate and qualify customer technical and business requirements
- Articulate value proposition and ROI/TCO tools to business stakeholders
- Negotiate contracts
- Upsell and cross-sell
- Build customer rapport
- Achieve sales quotas quarterly and annually
- Develop sales strategy in allocated territory
- Create target prospect list
- Develop regional sales plan
- Work with partners to sell solutions
- Prospect and qualify new sales opportunities
- Develop ongoing revenue streams from new and existing accounts
- Collaborate with Global and local SIs and Channel partners
