Requirements

  • Academic degree in Life Sciences with experience in genomics research or clinical laboratory work
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or Communication is a plus
  • Professional experience in the Life Sciences industry
  • Several years of customer service or sales experience
  • Experience working in multicultural and global environments
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, ACT, Goldmine)
  • Strong collaboration skills with sales teams and cross-functional departments
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to anticipate and manage client needs
  • Fluent in English and German (mandatory)
  • Clear and accurate communication, both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrates fairness, integrity, and confidentiality
  • Aligns priorities with customer needs and expectations
  • Willingness to travel and attend virtual meetings across time zones
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively

Tasks

  • Support the Sales Operations Team
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing for lead generation
  • Manage customer lead data in Salesforce
  • Handle daily pricing requests
  • Coordinate and complete RFPs
  • Gather information for proposals
  • Create and submit proposals
  • Prepare sales presentations
  • Maintain reporting tools like spreadsheets and graphs
  • Analyze potential and existing clients
  • Maintain proposal content and Q&A databases
  • Review proposal databases with SMEs and internal teams
  • Provide accurate proposal information to sales teams
  • Maintain sales pipeline and forecast data
  • Oversee client databases and contract management
  • Manage multiple client projects with high-quality service
  • Organize sales meetings on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
  • Evaluate processes and recommend improvements
  • Ensure proposals meet quality standards and deadlines
