Sales Manager Wiring Harness(m/w/x)
Sales for low/high voltage power/signal distribution systems to OEMs/Tier 1 suppliers, maximizing content per vehicle. German automotive experience with VW Group and ability to interpret technical drawings essential. Flexible work environment.
Requirements
- Degree in economics or industrial engineering
- Strong financial background
- German automotive experience with VW Group
- Clear verbal communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, preferably wiring-harnesses
- Strong teamwork approach
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
- Very good negotiation skills
- Good execution capability
- Effective presentation skills
- Strong German and English language skills – spoken and written
Tasks
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers
- Establish proactive communication and build relationships with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers
- Align with other Aptiv Product Lines to address customer issues
- Support multi-product battle plans to maximize content per vehicle for sustainable growth
- Facilitate portfolio decision-making based on objective data for pricing and givebacks
- Lead price negotiations and finalize price agreements
- Manage customer demands through appropriate internal processes
- Oversee customer RFQ activities, ensuring timely responses
- Organize and coordinate customer visits with Aptiv functional representatives
- Account for customer profitability and revenue growth in the EDS product line, focusing on quality, delivery, and cost performance
- Plan and execute account reviews with the cross-functional management team
- Support and monitor project launches and transfers, managing associated costs and pricing from business award to end-of-life
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve cost structure and enhance pricing quality
- Prepare and lead customer strategy meetings
- Support business planning and manage it within the SPS
