Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required
  • 8+ years quota-carrying field experience in fast-paced, competitive market, new business focus
  • 8+ years quota-carrying experience generating pipeline and selling through SI Partners in heavy sales matrix model
  • Ability to articulate business value of complex enterprise technology
  • Track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets
  • Skilled in building business champions and running complex sales process
  • Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g. MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales)
  • Familiarity with databases, devops, and open source technology a plus
  • Driven and competitive, strong desire to be successful
  • Skilled in managing time and resources, sound approach to qualifying opportunities
  • Aptitude to learn quickly and establish credibility, high EQ and self-aware
  • Passionate about growing career in database software, in-depth understanding of MongoDB products

Tasks

  • Prospect and develop sales pipeline through SI Partners
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities
  • Work with Sales team to close deals
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual bookings objectives
  • Recruit and build strong partner relationships
  • Drive growth opportunities through partner relationships
  • Manage all partner-related activities at the Area level
  • Coordinate with the Global team for support
  • Interlock with Global Pillar teams for backup
  • Participate in sales enablement trainings
  • Attend comprehensive Sales Bootcamp
  • Engage in sophisticated sales training
  • Participate in leadership and development programs
  • Collaborate with SI Partners to identify NWLs
  • Strategically influence new business acquisitions
