Principal Partner Specialist(m/w/x)
Prospecting and developing sales pipeline through SI Partners for AI-era database solutions. 8+ years quota-carrying field experience in complex enterprise technology sales required. Employee affinity groups, fertility assistance, and generous parental leave.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree required
- 8+ years quota-carrying field experience in fast-paced, competitive market, new business focus
- 8+ years quota-carrying experience generating pipeline and selling through SI Partners in heavy sales matrix model
- Ability to articulate business value of complex enterprise technology
- Track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets
- Skilled in building business champions and running complex sales process
- Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g. MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales)
- Familiarity with databases, devops, and open source technology a plus
- Driven and competitive, strong desire to be successful
- Skilled in managing time and resources, sound approach to qualifying opportunities
- Aptitude to learn quickly and establish credibility, high EQ and self-aware
- Passionate about growing career in database software, in-depth understanding of MongoDB products
Tasks
- Prospect and develop sales pipeline through SI Partners
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities
- Work with Sales team to close deals
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual bookings objectives
- Recruit and build strong partner relationships
- Drive growth opportunities through partner relationships
- Manage all partner-related activities at the Area level
- Coordinate with the Global team for support
- Interlock with Global Pillar teams for backup
- Participate in sales enablement trainings
- Attend comprehensive Sales Bootcamp
- Engage in sophisticated sales training
- Participate in leadership and development programs
- Collaborate with SI Partners to identify NWLs
- Strategically influence new business acquisitions
