Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and ten years' experience
  • Current US TOP SECRET/SCI clearance
  • Eight years' US Armed Forces experience
  • Experience with AFU or Ukrainian institutions
  • Understanding of US Joint military structure
  • Understanding of Russian and AFU tactics
  • Knowledge of US and NATO equipment
  • Willingness to work overtime and travel
  • No adverse US Government contractual actions
  • Professional Ukrainian and Russian language proficiency
  • Desirable Foreign Area Officer experience
  • Not at-risk of Ukrainian Mobilizatziya law

Tasks

  • Develop relationships with Ukrainian Armed Forces
  • Schedule meetings and engagements with personnel
  • Produce coordination products and engagement records
  • Coordinate logistics for high-level meetings
  • Prepare invitation letters and official correspondence
  • Review feasibility of planning and strategy
  • Identify critical friction points and risks
  • Interpret conversations between personnel and leadership
  • Translate documents between English and Ukrainian
  • Maintain consolidated contact lists of government personnel
  • Draft after-action reports on military tactics
  • Provide observation summaries and analysis reports
  • Deliver cultural advice during key leader engagements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Russian – Business Fluent
