Tasks
- Identify and qualify Lakebase activations and consumption opportunities
- Drive new Lakebase revenue within a defined territory
- Partner with regional Account Executives and the broader account team
- Articulate Lakebase benefits to platform teams, data teams, and central IT
- Sell fully-managed Postgres for intelligent applications
- Run complex sales cycles from discovery to close
- Navigate executive, technical, and line-of-business stakeholders
- Orchestrate proof-of-value and POCs for OLTP-style workloads and AI/ML applications
- Leverage compete assets, benchmarks, and customer references
- Align to measurable business outcomes
- Partner with Product Management, Marketing, and Customer Success
- Shape territory plans and co-selling motions with key ISVs and GSIs
- Share Lakebase best practices and success stories
- Establish strategic focus accounts by engaging application development teams
- Drive Postgres standardization and migration in strategic accounts
- Operate at a business-unit level by tracking revenue and pipeline
- Identify areas needing additional focus or support
- Engage priority accounts across the global DB700
- Drive strategic opportunities from initial engagement to successful outcomes
- Align customers and the field on Lakebase value
- Equip AEs and SAs with messaging and execution motions
- Develop an internal and external presence
- Contribute to global AMAs and internal forums
- Represent Databricks at key first- and third-party events
