Requirements

  • Fully qualified lawyer
  • Civil Law qualified lawyer
  • At least 10 years professional experience in legal department or law firm
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical, diagnostic, medical device, or life sciences industries
  • Experience in regional role for multi-national corporation

Tasks

  • Provide general legal advice to local Country Management Teams
  • Collaborate with global functions within the Agilent Legal group
  • Support business units in anticipating and resolving disputes
  • Protect Agilent's assets and technology
  • Coordinate legal matters with outside counsel
  • Manage legal expenses effectively
  • Oversee local entity corporate matters
  • Ensure legal compliance and draft necessary documents
  • Advise on employment law and regulatory matters
  • Provide competition law counseling and data protection advice
  • Work with the Commercial Contracts Legal team on local law advice
  • Participate in acquisition integration projects
  • Maintain internal databases and improve document templates
  • Manage legal interactions with local government agencies
  • Assist in statutory compliance and product regulatory matters
  • Manage litigation in North Europe and collaborate on major disputes
  • Build relationships with internal business clients as a trusted advisor
